Divine Wave Therapy
What is Divine Wave therapy?
Divine Wave therapy (also known as shockwave therapy) is a non-invasive treatment for Urinary incontinence, Pelvic Pain, ovarian cysts, fibroids, Hormonal Imbalance, skin tightness including intimate parts, enlarged labia minora, Erectable dysfunction, Lymphatic drainage, Anxiety, weight loss, chronic stress, Kidney stones, orthopedic injuries, chronic neck, and shoulder pain, lower back pain and more.
What conditions can shockwave therapy treat?
Divine wave therapy is often recommended to those suffering from chronic pelvic pain, Erectile Dysfunction, Urinary incontinence, Migraines, Painful periods, Adrenal fatigue, Tendonitis, and many other conditions. This treatment is most used on people with persistent or severe pain that doesn’t respond to other treatment options. Divine wave therapy should not be used on patients with neuropathy or loss of sensation or those who suffer from seizures, heart conditions, or cancer. We will discuss your complete medical history during your evaluation to ensure this procedure is right for you.
What happens during the procedure?
A probe is placed on the skin, where an electrical charge will begin creating shockwaves over the areas causing pain. There are two types of shockwave therapies: high-energy and low- energy. High-energy waves may require a patient to receive a local anesthetic before the procedure, while low-energy waves are often more popular because this can be done without anesthesia, and patients can easily instruct us on the exact areas of pain to provide more effective relief.
What should I expect after treatment?
Many patients can bear weight in treated areas right after their therapy. However, you should avoid strenuous physical activity for a few weeks. We will provide detailed information about which activities are safe and should be avoided during healing.
